lizzy + dave | this is the beginning

I’ve always believed that God made me specifically for my husband Ben, and He has made Ben specifically for me. He knew our paths would cross one day and He was the mastermind behind everything. Because of this, every circumstance we went through before we met made sense. As unpleasant as some of my past was, the events molded me to become the person I was before I met Ben. And when we finally did meet, we knew we were meant for each other, and we were ready to share our lives together.

For Liz and Dave, they went through a very similar situation.

Timing was everything. And because both of them were willing to put their trust completely in the One who made them, they waited. For each other. As Dave put it in his own words(and it couldn’t have been more beautifully written):

There wasn’t a specific moment but rather a sustained string of times that I’d say to myself, “I think I could be with her forever”.  After enough of those and enough time had passed to where I looked back at how God orchestrated everything was, I thought enough was enough…she’s the one.’

For these two, this is just the beginning, the first chapter of the rest of their lives. I was so excited we were able to revisit the very place where he proposed, to see the very tree house he built for her. :)

Your pictures are delightful! I can’t tell you how sorry we are that we won’t be able to be at your wedding. From photos to save the date to the invitation I can tell it’s going to be FUN! We’re having to time our travel around the arrival of our grand baby. Should she arrive early we will definitely come.
With love and our very best wishes and prayers for a joy filled marriage.
