{Family}, Orange, CA

Happiness is being grandparents.  Because you get to see the miniture versions of your own children running around.  Because you get to be loved, in a big way.  And because you get to play with your grandchildren, spoil them..yet you are allowed to return them to their parents at the end of the day.

I had the privilege to photograph a very special family this past weekend.  We met the Warners three years ago at a Bible Study.  At that time, Alison was only 24 weeks pregnant with her daughter.  Now this daughter is almost two and a half years old.  Where did the time go??  Alison and her husband, Joel, welcomed Joel’s parents’ visit last week from Michigan.  Joel’s Mom turned 65 this past Sunday.  But she looked so good!

Between three children and eight grandchildren, the birthday star enjoyed every minute of being a grandma.  She even went into the Bounce House and bounced around with her grandkids!!  I wish I will be in such great shape when I turn 65!

Meet the Warners.

See, I wasn’t kidding when I said Grandma joined the action.

What a “slice of life”– great job! Love that little head on the wooden step and the cookie-making. So glad they have these pictures, they will be treasured!

What a wonderful family. And what a great Grandma! :)
I bet they loved her for bouncing with them.
